FAQs

  • Does this course cover everything my child needs to know for Creative Writing SEA?

YES! This covers all foundational skills and provides ample practice with a variety of prompts for both narrative and report writing! Students are even given access to a writing sample bank as well as practice tests! Of course, further practice will always be beneficial. However, students have access to all the key information they need and more!

  • Is everything pre-recorded and self paced?

Yes. All videos and content are pre recorded for viewing. This means that users can review lessons as many times as needed, and will never have to miss a thing! It is recommended for students to complete the course in order to achieve best results. I suggest a minimum of 1 and 1/2- 2 hours a week in order to finish the course with ample time for review. Of course, students can work at a faster pace to cover content sooner.

  • How do I pay?

Firstly, you will be prompted to make a Bright Minds account. This course can then be purchased using a credit card or direct bank transfer. Please view further details on pricing and payment on the "Pricing" page of the website.

  • Can more than one user share an account?

No. Each subscription is strictly for one user. Apart from this being in the terms and agreements, the course is designed to track individual student progress to ensure they achieve maximum growth. Any violation of this will result in retraction of subscription.

Students will need two notebooks, writing utensils, coloured pencils and highlighters. You can learn more about this in the first free preview lesson of the course!

This is entirely dependent on the pace of each individual child. However, the course contains approximately 120 mini lessons, ranging from 4-30 minutes. Footage is approximately 26 hours, broken down into small manageable blocks. Here's the breakdown: Narrative Writing Section - 21 chapters, 73 lessons, 10 mini quizzes and 11 brain breaks.
